See a Techno lathe equipped with a Centroid Acorn CNC congtroller commanding Gecko G540 driving stepper motors along with a VFD running a three phase spindle motor (the VFD uses single phase 220!) and with a REAL encoder on the spindle connected to the Acorn CNC control breakout board. These demo shots show the Centroid Acorn CNC controller Rigid Tapping, Threading, Drilling, Profiling with Auto Cleanout and using Constant Surface Speed turning. (CSS)
