Only odd-numbered vehicles will be allowed to ply on Delhi roads today, failing which the vehicle owner may have to pay a fine of Rs 2,000. School children wearing uniforms and VIPs will be given respite from the restriction. The rule will be applicable on other-state vehicles plying on Delhi roads also. The Delhi Government has put a one-year ban on the sale, storage and use of tobacco products like pan masala and gutka. It has issued a notification in this regard.
