Mark Hull’s talk explored the disturbing — but true — story of an English woman named Phyllis James who was a traitor to Great Britain, a volunteer in service to Nazi Germany, a widely-accepted but inauthentic Irish national, and an unreconstructed Holocaust denier.
Her story takes place against the background of the most important events of the 20th century, and her role in them (real and imagined), made for an incredible story.
