I managed to get my hands on the latest filter from Optolong. The L-eXtreme dual narrowband filter. This filter lets through 7nm Hydrogen Alpha and 7nm Oxygen-III. So with a small break in the weather and a couple clear nights, I threw caution to the British heatwave and imaged with an uncooled modified DSLR.

The resulting images definitely have been impacted by the temperature. But I didn't have any other options. Besides, I think the detail that has been picked up with such short integration times really is a testament to the potential of this filter.
