This video pays respect to the traditional owners of the land.
The name of the land or boodjar where we stand today, and where the RAC building is situated is called Koorlup.
Koorlup means a place of coming and going. This was place which the Noongar people travelled through to access the camping grounds of Gallup (Lake Monger)
and Moort al up (Claisebrooke) and Matagarup (Heirisson Island).
Noongar elders give a greeting to you.
We welcome you to the land of our ancestors
We Welcome you to Noongar country
and We Welcome you to Koorlup.
We wish you safe travels through this land
Safe travels
