This is a frame I got from VeloBuild at [ Ссылка ]
SHORT VERSION:
-Frame snapped in descent.
-Injury toll: fractured my fibula and snapped a ligament.
-Recommend VeloBuild Chinese Carbon? NO WAY.
LONGER VERSION:
I took great care to put this bike together, to inspect it before and after every ride. I had never crashed before this incident occurred. I had the bike for only a month and a half.
The back triangle of the frame snapped upon landing a 2 ft drop at decent speed. I broke my leg as a result. I am grateful i didn't further injure myself. Recovery time has been a pain. Mountain biking is great fun, but there is too much at stake to use unreliable gear. These frames are not reliable. I would not trust anything they make. If this video can dissuade you from making the same mistake I made, then it is worthwhile. There is no such thing as cheap carbon. And if it is cheap, then it is too good to be true!
If Carbon is too pricey or worrisome, stick with aluminum.
Safe riding!
