Parliament has passed amendments to the Succession Act bringing in new provisions and aligning the law with recent court judgments that challenged the constitutionality of some sections or requested for clarification.
NTV’s Walter Mwesigye reports that the new law stipulates that 20% of a deceased person’s property will not be shared, but left to see minors, if any, through school.
