I did go back and reinforce the palm leaves with extra cardboard I did it just like I had the tape but I hot glued it. I used pieces of my tr- fold display board that had a fold it in and cut rectangles for that. I also cut the slits higher in the palm leaves to make a bigger gap. Things you will need.

2 tri-fold display boards
glue gun
green paint I used christmas green acrylic
