Sacha Dench spoke with Jenny from The Lancashire Peatlands Initiative about their project to create a pioneering carbon farm on an area of lowland peat.
Peatlands are valuable carbon store. In agricultural Lancashire, restoring peatlands back to it's carbon capturing potential is a simple process of rewetting the drained land; a way of looking after our land that is great for our climate!
