Ephemeral Shades | Duet

A Duet from the one hour long choreography Ephemeral Shades choreographed for Aura Dance Theatre.

This piece portrays the challenges, difficulties and the true love two people share for eventually co-creating a harmonious relationship and family.

What are the different stages a relationship is passing through when things don't work well, and what solutions can be found?

The beginning opens with May and Jasper creating their version of understanding how they are in the relationship until they reverse back the whole sequence / life experience and live again another version. Eventually they start co-creating facing difficulties as well as exciting moments, to end up being together in unity, love and harmony.

The full cast was with 10 dancers and the duet was performed by Chen Mei and Jasper Narvaez.
