We were sick of the explosive bag situation on the back seat on the first day of camping trips, so we decided it was time to build rear storage shelving to make it neater and easier to access. The build cost just under $500 in materials from Bunnings, and took a full weekend to plan, cut, screw, paint, carpet and install! The storage consists of 4 drawers, a bushman's console fridge (not part of the materials cost), and a secure charging section for electronics. The storage section is removable, leaving a false floor in the bottom if we do ever need the extra space. For now, this dual cab has become a two seater and is ready for our next adventure to Cape York!
