There were 31 new coronavirus cases confirmed as at noon on Wednesday (June 2), including 24 community cases. Of these local cases, five are currently unlinked. The World Health Organisation on Tuesday (June 1) approved a Covid-19 vaccine made by Sinovac Biotech for emergency-use listing, the second Chinese-produced shot to get its endorsement.
