A SpaceX Falcon 9 launch vehicle launched 24 Starlink satellites (Starlink-220 / Starlink 6-71) to low-Earth orbit from Space Launch Complex 40 (SLC-40) at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, Florida, on 6 January 2025, at 20:43 UTC (15:43 EST). Following stage separation, Falcon 9’s first stage landed on the “Just Read the Instructions” droneship, stationed in the Atlantic Ocean. Falcon 9’s first stage (B1077) previously supported 16 missions: Crew-5, GPS III SV06, Inmarsat-6 F2, CRS-28, Intelsat G-37, NG-20, TD7 and 9 Starlink missions.
