(4 Mar 2019) UK PRINCE OPENS MEMORIAL TO TUNISIA ATTACKS VICTIMS
Prince Harry on Monday attended a memorial in Birmingham to commemorate the victims of the 2015 Tunisia attacks.
Harry spoke at a special ceremony at Cannon Hill Park, attended by the families of the victims.
He met with the families afterwards and encouraged them to talk about their grief.
The memorial includes a centrepiece sculpture titled Infinite Wave, consisting of 31 individual stainless steel rods representing the Britons who died in the attacks.
Tunisia's deadliest extremist attack, a massacre at a Mediterranean resort in 2015, killed 38 people, most of them British tourists.
In addition to the massacre at the beach resort, Tunisia suffered two other major attacks in 2015. At the famed Bardo Museum, 22 people were killed by extremists while 12 perished in the center of Tunis on a bus carrying presidential guards.
