Emergency crews have rescued two men who were buried in dirt up to their hips after a trench collapsed at a residential construction site in suburban Detroit. Chesterfield Township Police Chief Bradley Kersten says the two men apparently were digging a foundation and preparing to pour concrete when a trench wall caved in about 2:45 p.m. Monday.
