The first trial for the close aides of Yoo Byung-eun, the fugitive de facto owner of the sunken Sewol-ho ferry... has begun about two hours ago.
The trials are being held at Incheon's District Court.... with these eight having been indicted for embezzlement and breach-of-duty.
According to prosecutors and court officials,... the first court hearing of a close aide to Yoo,... Song Bin-kook ,... the head of key affiliate Dapanda Company was to be held on June 10th... but was postponed as more accused were indicted.
Prosecutors earlier this month indicted 15 crew members tasked with the ship's navigation -- four on homicide charges -- and two other close aides to Yoo on corruption charges.
