Kuwait's Council of Ministers held its weekly meeting, under the chairmanship of the Acting Premier, Minister of Interior and Acting Minister of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs Sheikh Mohammad Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, who briefed the Ministers on the noble order of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah on granting the Kuwaiti citizenship to the security personnel who accompanied the late Amir Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah during the aggressive assault on his motorcade that took place in 1985.
