This month's BASS XL Lucky Tackle Box included an INCREDIBLE amount of high quality, fish catching lures! The lures that came in this box are PERFECT for early to late spring time fishing! When the ice first comes off of the lake, the first lure I tie on is a jerk bait. Jerk baits work extremely well in cold water applications. Once that water starts to warm up and the fish become active I pick up a red lipless crank bait and start fishing over the tops off grass piles. Once those bass move shallow and start feeding heavily for the spawn I tie on a topwater walking bait and beat the banks for GIANT bass! Once those bass get on beds to begin to spawn i pick up a lure that imitates a crawfish and throw it in their beds to trigger a strike.
