Savoy / Chef Peter Hoffman:
For over twenty years Chef Peter Hoffman ran Savoy at the corner of Prince and Crosby in a rapidly gentrifying SoHo. He was a farmers market fixture, regularly seen shopping with his utility bicycle at the Union Square Greenmarket and doing seasonal cooking with locally grown ingredients way before "Farm to Table" became a thing. His recent memoir "What's Good?" chronicles many of those small farm vendors and that eat local and seasonal spirit.
