Jorge Alvarez-Tostado, a.k.a. "Joy" spends his nights in Koreatown (now moved to a storefront in downtown L.A.) tending to a large rotating spit, or trompo. While he slices off chunks of the slow-broiled adobada, he hawks his Tijuana-style tacos to any passerby who will try what he calls "the best taco in L.A."
