The leadership of Kampala Capital City Authority is mooting plans to allocate some spaces where vendors can sell their items. Earlier this year, hundreds of vendors were evicted from city streets by a combined force of police, UPDF and KCCA Law Enforcement officers.
The latest development follows a meeting between hawkers, vendors and taxi drivers and other stakeholders in the Central Business District of Kampala.
