In his book 'Dalit Kitchens of Marathwada', Marathi writer Shahu Patole chronicles the culinary history of the marginalised Dalit communities and how living in dire poverty has led the community to develop their own food culture and recipes. We follow him through his village where he and his family share experiences of discrimination while preparing their afternoon meal.
