2017 MPC-CMSE Summer Scholar Stephanie Bauman interns in MIT Assistant Professor of Electrical Engineering Luqiao Liu’s lab, synthesizing and testing new magnetic materials, called antiferromagnets, for devices that can be operated at room temperature by reversing their electron spin and serve as the basis for long lasting, spintronic computer memory.
