That think freaked me off but i really wanted to do that.
So i decided to cut a hole in roof of my MK7 for GPS antenna

So i made some genuine measurements of other MK7 and he we go :)

Tested by water and few hours of rain.
Antenna have already robber seal but i added JIC plasticine seal and secured cutted edges by rust protector.

Don't need any special tools , job done on local car park :)
60 min time
Masking tape
Dremel with few cutting disks
Something to cover paint like towel to avoid some unexpected scratches

I take off a back of my headliner so have better access from the bottom.
Its hard to take off headliner handles they don't have any screw , only metal clips
you have to use 2 flat tiny screwdrivers to relist security , wasn't easy to do it
took me more time than cut a hole :)
