Honda's factory in Lincoln, Alabama, known as Honda Manufacturing of Alabama, LLC (HMA), is responsible for producing a variety of Honda vehicles, including the Odyssey minivan, Pilot SUV, and Ridgeline pickup truck. The factory started production in 2001 and currently employs around 4,500 people. The factory is Honda's fifth automobile production facility in North America and produces approximately 340,000 vehicles annually. The factory also has a engine plant which produce V-6 engines for several Honda models. The plant uses advanced technologies, including laser welding and advanced robotics, to produce high-quality and efficient vehicles. The factory also has a recycling program that recycles or reuses more than 95% of its waste.
