Surya namaskar A & B involves series of movements combined with breath and focus point which makes them ideal to start the practice and get the body and mind flowing together to find stability and increased awareness towards our actions
Traditionally we practice surya namaskar A 5 times and surya namaskar B 3 times to warm our body and continue with further asanas of the Ashtanga yoga series. Today we are doing 5 times A and 5 times B.
