Raw video of crews pouring concrete and placing rebar at the site where Bertha, the SR 99 tunneling machine, was launched in summer 2013. Crews are transforming the launch pit into a double-decked roadway that will connect to the existing SR 99 lanes near South Royal Brougham Way. This work also includes connecting the launch pit to the future operations building at the tunnel's south portal.
