The song guitar man is about my late grandpa who played guitar his whole life, he played with some of the old outlaws who started the group Nashville sound, which he played lead guitar. Growing up in the country with family all over the central US we would have reunions about every year and pappaw and his band would play them, and the coolest part was we were all family, cousins, uncles, nephews, and sons would get together and make music on the stage. the family would gather around not seeing them for years on end because they were on the road playing music, we would listen to all the stories from the road, and let me tell ya there are some funny ass things that can happen on the road. That was years ago of course. Now a days me and my cousin Alex hold down the tradition our grandfathers paved. My grandfather had a brother ( uncle Darrel ) that was a vocalist and guitar player as well, him and my pappaw was always together, my drummer Alex is his grandson, so together we keep the tradition alive and well, I wish he was here today to hear this song. hope you guys enjoy (guitarman) . ..... recorded at Oakwood studio Lexington KY . .......
