Arshjit grew up in India and is now studying the International Foundation Year in Science and Engineering.

He is aiming to progress to BSc (Hons) Computer Science at Durham University. He tells us that his uncle is his biggest inspiration because he is also a computer scientist. His uncle also grew up in India and now works at Apple in the USA.

Arshjit says he has enjoyed making friends with people from countries around the world at the International Study Centre. He explains how there is a great diversity of people from countries and subjects.

“It’s cool to have friends studying different subjects,” he says.
