Time: 0900 local time
Situation:
With the destruction of their power plant, the coup leaders have increased their ground and air patrols in our area. Joint Force Special Operations Air Component Commander (JFSOACC) has therefore ordered a heightened presence in the area and greater vigilance in protecting coalition assets.
Mission:
Viper Squadron is ordered to perform a Combat Air Patrol (CAP) over the area around FOB Bravo.
Execution:
You will take off from FOB Bravo and follow your flight path. You are authorized to kill any enemy air forces you encounter.
Expected Enemy Forces:
Joint staff intelligence (J2) reports that multiple Sukhoi and MiG fighter patrols are operating near FOB Bravo. Documents captured by coalition ground forces have confirmed suspicions that enemy munitions and supplies are being transported throughout the area by An-72 Coalers. Should you encounter those aircraft you are cleared to destroy these targets of opportunity.
Allied Support:
Checkmate will be on station to coordinate airborne warning and control.
