I first learnt to make this soup working at London's River Cafe in the 90's (light years ago). It's for sure one of my favourites and it's easy to make. You can of course use fresh tomatoes however it's is a good one for this time using tinned tomato and left over bread. You can make larger batches and also freeze it.
