The undergraduate students in the Environmental Engineering program at the University of Guelph learn about the application of scientific theories and principles to minimize the impact of human activities on the air, soil, and water environments. The program provides in-depth knowledge of relevant physical, chemical, and biological systems with a strong emphasis on design. The graduating students develop careers in academia, government, or private sector by pursuing research, consulting, policy, regulatory, and other relevant work. They support the United Nations sustainable development goals. For instance, students in our program learn about climate change, clean water/sanitation, and affordable/clean energy. They learn how to develop technology and take action to support these UN goals.
