It was freshly manufactured on a shakedown run, got hung up on its under tray rear toolboxes, couldn't reverse, and found its front recovery hooks were poorly positioned meaning shackles couldn't be used. Luckily my tree trunk protector strap could be used as an equiliser strap and with a D shackle slotted over the middle of the strap to attach a snatch block, got the attachments needed to attempt recovery.
Winch mounted on TJM T13 Deluxe Outback bar on a 2012 PX Ford Ranger XLT 4x4. Stopped winching a few times as Ranger was being dragged across the ground, with 33" Baja ATZ's down at 20psi, just couldn't hold even on full lock. Was going to attach my Drag chain to tree behind me onto my rear recovery hitch to hold me but progress was made just as I was about to set it up.
