tesa® 60400 Bio-Strong is certified as being made up of 98% bio-based carbon content. The material used is PLA (polylactic acid), based 100% from renewable resources including sugar cane, starch, and corn.

Due to it's uniquely sustainable construction, if produces significantly lower CO2 emissions compared to other plastic packaging tapes, which has been backed by tesa R&D laboratories and CO2 data from Sphera™).

It has received the highest bio-based rating certified by two of the most respected independent testing agencies in Europe, DIN CERTCO and TÜV AUSTRIA.
