Unfortunately this is one of most painstacking points of vertical integration between various systems in the car. Ideally Google Maps supposed to work as data provider for BMW routing system. For example, Google Maps API has Routes API that can be leveraged to provide navigation data.
This will be extremely beneficial because HERE Maps lacking a lot of information, at least for US market.
