Climbing in Italy is something I’ve always wanted to do. I was super psyched to discover the country, the climbing, and its hardest lines. This time, I visited Albenga.
This route by Matteo Gambaro was the one I came for—a really cool line over a massive roof that wasn’t easy to figure out. It’s a proper modern power test piece, and I was happy to make the second ascent. I really felt like other climbers should come and try this one.
