The Congress high command has decided that they will not be participating or organizing any political rallies and programs in poll-bound Uttar Pradesh after shocking scenes from an event in Bareilly district. This is amid the Covid spike across the nation and also in the state of Uttar Pradesh. The decision comes after the rally and a marathon which was held in Bareilly district where there was a stampede-like situation with the girl children. There was a massive crowd in the rally in which hundreds of women and teen girls were seen without masks and all of them were children. After which the congress party has decided, no rallies will be conducted in Uttar Pradesh.
