Using a bamboo whisk to make matcha is the traditional way, but it takes a lot more care to clean and store than modern kitchen tools. Watch to learn how to properly clean your bamboo matcha whisk:
Step 1: Rinse under running water. If you rinse it right away, soap should not be necessary every time.
Step 2: Make sure your whisk holder stands up properly. It should look like a tear drop! ;)
Step 3: Place your whisk in your whisk holder - the ceramic holder is necessary for protecting the shape of the whisk.
Step 4: Let dry on the holder! Storing your whisk up-side down or on it's side would develop mold.
