This day was looming on my mind and heart since the start of the trip. A friend and fellow shanty boater (Lojo Marine here on Youtube) had some trouble passing through St. Louis a few weeks before and ultimately had to end his trip. Wavey and I staged in Alton for a couple days (should have gotten more gas) and went for it with a group of loopers. I think passing through on Sunday is the ticket. When you do it, just remember to take it slow, leave early and GET GAS!! Lol.
