This year is the 50th anniversary of the Las Vegas Greek Fest at the site of the St. John the Baptist Greek Orthodox Church.

The festival contained several booths with hand-crafted decor, paintings and other items. There was plenty of authentic Greek cuisine with a unique flair. So many activities for children including bouncy castles and a small train. The stage had world-renowned Greek musicians and a folk dance team. There were scheduled tours of the church, adorned in beautiful craftsmanship. There was also a 26.2-mile Torch Relay Run to support the non-profit Nevada Partnership for Homeless Youth.
