With the excitement for the upcoming launch of Sunway Velocity TWO in Cheras, I've decided to stop by the first phase to check things out. Sunway has been famous for their ability to plan out program where integrated components such as malls, hotels, residences, and etc work together. And this includes Sunway Velocity.
Mixed developments like this are quite common in Petaling Jaya, but it's rather new and rare in the Cheras region. Therefore, it's fetching RM1100 per square feet for their selling price. However, when I visit the place, I noticed there are a lot of empty units and the asking rental is too high.
The freehold location seems ideal where it's next to IKEA, TRX, KLCC, and Pavillion, but when you drive around the area you will notice the surrounding flats and old buildings.
If you need to be close to the city and you like convenience, this is the place for you. But you're into serenity and peaceful homes, go check someplace else=)
