The Western Australian government has warned their border could remain closed until early 2021.
State Premier Mark McGowan initially shut the border in late March during the first wave of the pandemic and claims his tough stance will save lives.
“What we’re trying to do here is save the lives of Western Australians and make sure that our economy can function properly within our borders, it’s really straightforward.”
