Third passing track is in, and the ridge is now about half as tall and rocky instead of scenic, so I'm now calling the layout the Rocky Ridge & Rural Retreat Railroad, or the RR&RR RR. Adding the third passing track allows operation of two trains in opposite directions meeting at the passing tracks. No more pointless round and round. This is about as complete as it gets, save for another structure or two to be added, along with running the front yard track around the sides to a staging yard behind the layout.
