Join me for a tour of this magnificent castle on a hill high over Alicante. This castle is beautiful but holds a dark past, as do many parts of Spain. It's a climb just to make it up here on foot and I was happy when I finally entered the gate. I went on a free tour with some friends and our guide was simply amazing.
