Eating at PICHOLINE RESTAURANT represents an authentic dive into the most fantastic Mediterranean FLAVOURS you can imagine! The owner, in fact, knows how to delight and pamper his guests thanks to his friendliness, his welcome but above all thanks to the passion and LOVE that he knows how to add to the goodness of every dish: head chef at the Cigala restaurant for 12 years, he has been able to do of his own experience a universe devoted to HIGH QUALITY cuisine in terms of taste, combinations and presentation of each dish. The ingredients in the kitchen are always fresh and in season, from the menu you can choose and enjoy meat, fish and vegetable specialties with combinations of tastes that will surprise your palate and conquer your eyes. What can I say? Go, go, go… and then tell me how much you liked it because I'm sure you'll come out as enthusiastic as I am!

And here's what I was lucky enough to taste:
- Hand carved Serrano ham, the apotheosis of taste
- Hummus,babaganoush,pickles and lebanese bread, pure delight
- Charcoal grilled marinated quail, softness personified
- Grilled squid with coriander sauce… mouth-watering!
- Chicken gizzard cooked slowly in a tomato sauce ... impossible not to make the "scarpetta" with bread
- Paella de marisco with monkfish, prawns and mussels, a dip in goodness
- Arroz negro with squid and their ink ... combine it with the alioli sauce and you'll be in Heaven
- Charcoal grilled octopus with new potato fried garlic and black olives ... breathtaking for the goodness
- Sangria, sangria, sangria ... love at the first sip!

My review:

Mangiare da PICHOLINE RESTAURANT rappresenta un autentico tuffo tra i SAPORI mediterranei più fantastici che possiate immaginare! Il proprietario, infatti, sa deliziare e coccolare i propri ospiti grazie alla sua simpatia, alla sua accoglienza ma soprattutto grazie alla passione e all'AMORE che sa aggiungere alla bontà di ogni pietanza: capo cuoco al ristorante Cigala per 12 anni, ha saputo fare della propria esperienza un universo votato alla cucina di ALTISSIMA QUALITA' nel gusto, negli abbinamenti e nella presentazione di ogni piatto. Gli ingredienti in cucina sono sempre freschissimi e di stagione, dal menu potrete scegliere e gustare specialità a base di carne, di pesce e di verdure con accostamenti di gusti che sapranno sorprendere il vostro palato e conquistare i vostri occhi. Che dire? Andate, andate, andate… e poi raccontatemi quanto vi è piaciuto perché sono certa che ne uscirete entusiasti quanto me!

Ed ecco cosa ho avuto la FORTUNA di gustare:
- Prosciutto Serrano affettato a mano, l'apoteosi del gusto
- Hummus, Babaganoush, sottaceti e olive con pane libanese tiepido, pura delizia
- Quaglie marinate e cucinate alla brace, la morbidezza impersonificata
- Calamari alla griglia con salsa al coriandolo… da leccarsi i baffi!
- Ventrigli di pollo cucinate lentamente in una salsa di pomodoro… impossibile non fare la scarpetta con il pane
- Paella con rana pescatrice, gamberoni e cozze, un tuffo nella bontà
- Riso nero con calamari e il loro inchiostro… abbinatelo alla salsa alioli e sarete in Paradiso
- Polpo alla brace con patate novelle, aglio fritto e olive nere… da togliere il fiato per la bontà
- Sangria, sangria, sangria… amore al primo sorso!
