GG is back with this Chocolate Chess Pie just in time for Thanksgiving-however you might be celebrating that this year. I’m thankful to get to share her recipes with you, friends and fam. My wish for you is that you get some time to think about the blessings 2020 brought. In a year that was so tough, it’s all the more important for us to remember all of those people and moments that added goodness to our lives and gave us hope.

CHOCOLATE CHESS PIE:
Ingredients-
1.5 cups white sugar
3.5 T cocoa powder
Pinch of salt
12 oz evaporated milk
2 eggs, beaten
1/4 cup melted butter
1 t vanilla extract
9 inch pie crust
Preheat oven to 350°F. Mix together sugar, cocoa, and salt. Stir in milk, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla. Pour filling into piecrust. Bake 45 to 50 minutes until set, the pie will wobble in the center when you give it a shake. Cool to room temperature andi then chill for at least 2 hours in the refrigerator. Slice and serve.
