Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday announced in the lok Sabha that Cabinet has cleared the formation of a trust to oversee the construction of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya. The Supreme Court in its November 9 ruling, had asked Centre to form a trust for temple construction. The PM also informed that the UP govt has cleared 5 acre land for mosque in Ayodhya as per the SC order. PM Modi also said that the Centre has decided to handover 67 acres of acquired land around the janambhoomi to the trust.
