Zulu King Goodwill Zwelithini has announced a regiment called Inqaba which is tasked with defending and protecting the Ingonyama Trust and the monarch. He made the announcement at an imbizo in Ulundi, in northern KwaZulu-Natal today. It comes after a proposal by a High Level Panel led by former President, Kgalema Motlanthe that the Ingonyama Trust be scrapped, and people be granted title deeds.
The Zulu King wants the Ingonyama Trust to remain intact.
