This didn't allow the paddle to sit flush with the aluminum door, thus allowing it to loosen up with heavy use in the building. We replaced the nuts, as well as changed out a screw in the electric strike on the frame that was digging into the door and lock face plate. We also changed out an oversized collar on the mortis cylinder that was pulling the lock to one side, and adjusted the closer that was now latching too hard with the reduced friction.
