Video of the George Orwell Memorial Lecture 2010, on the subject of 'Orwell and the Oligarchs'. The lecture was given by Ferdinand Mount, author (works including the memoir 'Cold Cream'), novelist, former head of the policy unit at 10 Downing Street (1982-3) and former judge of the Orwell Prize (2009). The lecture - organised by the Orwell Trust and Birkbeck College - was held at the Beveridge Hall, Senate House, University of London on Friday 26th November 2010 at 5pm.
